What happens in a session?

A Stress and Anxiety Relief Session follows a simple structure:

  • We identify your current challenge.
  • We determine the root cause of your challlenge.
  • We transform your perception of and relationship with the challenge.

Depending on the challenge you want to overcome, it may be possible to work on more than one challenge in the same session.

How quickly will I feel better?

Relief is limited to the challenge(s) addressed in your session. If you are feeling anxious there may be multiple factors contributing to your anxiety.

For example, adressing your work stress will improve the way you feel and are able to cope at work, however, you may also need to address your relationship stress that is also contributing your anxiety as well.

Each challenge may have a different root cause contributing to your anxiety and each root cause must be addressed individually in order to completely overcome your anxiety.

That said, relief can be felt in a matter of minutes - and is lasting with regards to the specific challenge you address and transform within a session.

If you are experiencing a physiological response in your body prior to the session (nausea, shortness of breath or dizziness) typically, you will feel an immediate level of physical relief during your session.

If you are experiencing mental or emotional stress (racing thoughts, moodiness, feelings of overwhelm or irritability) you will feel calmer and lighter with a sense of increased ability to cope better with your challenge by the end of your session.

How will I feel during a session?

Mentally you will feel more focused and alert.

physically your body will feel deeply relaxed, this is typically a very positive and peaceful state.

During the session, you will overcome your unhelpful thoughts and feelings so that you can experience your challenge differently - you will either no longer react (you will choose to respond diferently) or you may never experience that challenge or be in that situation again.

As we overcome your challenge during a Stress or Anxiety Relief Session, your distress may temporarily increase before dissipating. This is normal and we only proceed with the process if it is safe and appropriate to do so.

How will I feel after a session?

Mentally you will experience a sense of calm and clarity. You will have a new perspective and will begin to see things differently, allowing you to find solutions where you were unable to before.

physically you will feel relaxed and energeticaly lighter, like a weight has been lifted off your shoulders (or chest). This is similar to the feeling after yoga, meditation or having a spa or a massage.

This is typically a very positive and peaceful state.

What you previously found challenging, will either feel more manageable or it will no longer exist in your reality. Instead of roadbloacks and challenges, you will begin to see solutions and opportunities.
